Closing in on April

Hi folks,

I apologize for the lack of blogging. Well, my life these days feels like I have trod on a mine and still recovering from the shellshock. I must admit I have never actually felt in place in my studies and have been extremely lucky with both class mates therein with groupmates, who were a big help and actually saviours. To you all I say once again: Thank you!!! I hope I will get the opportunity to pay you back.
Enough of that.

I went to Iceland on the 14th of march and stayed for a week. It was a really good trip and good to wind a little bit down. The official excuse was to attend a confirmation. My sister's youngest was being confirmed or he is confirmed...still have to get that confirmed. Silly word confirmed, but that is what he is actually doing. He is saying to the priest that what mom and dad did when I was born was quite alright and I am pretty happy with the name as well. Now, that is confirmation. And of course the presents. Really funny that the words "present" and "present" are spellt the same way. Should we then say that the presents we get are really pasts when they are more then day old. Makes you wonder doesn't it?
Iceland is a great country eventhough I say myself. I am proud of it and well we have sometimes strange politics and emphasis in social services are sometimes strange as well, but I love it all. This does not mean I intend to live there for a while.

The time is now 1 am and I have advanced as much as an ashmatic ant with some heavy shopping!!! I think I will go to bed now and try to make some sense in the morning. The thesis is really bugging me these days and quite frankly I am a little bit afraid I will not finish it before the deadline....now there is a nother word: "deadline"!!!!

Anyway enough for now. Lene I am sorry for not writing more here, but at least this is an entry.

Alexander came home yesterday and there was something about him that reminded me of home. I have been pondering on this the whole day. Still not sure what it could be.

 

Day before the storm

Hi,

Yes, yes I know I have been pretty lazy on this side of the blog. Well, tomorrow I will be taking a re-exam in something called Business intelligence or Data mining. Interesting subject, I have heard. So I have been for the past week studying a bit and will probably do so well into the night as I am accustomed to do (not sure about the spelling here, but you get the bit).

Since I wrote the last time, I have been inhaling a generous amount of oxygen, consuming insane amount of coffee and eating pretty poorly or rather unhealthy, because some of the stuff I have been eating is not offered to poor people...though I am one.

Yes, well I will quit this rambling and continue with the divine study of Chi square, and all that jazz.

It would be nice to know if anyone reads this dribble and if the very same could maybe place a small comment...it is all a question of supply and demand...more comments more supplies...get it???
