Exams

Hi,

Well, have taken two exams this week and believe I managed to pass one, but failed misearbly today. So, I will be studying for it again in Januar.

Anyway, I am not really that depressed about it. I simply deserved it. I wish I had some really good excuse, but I do not. This wall was simply to big when I rammed into it.

Next exam on Friday...aim to please there.

Enjoy life...I am really aiming for that to.

Friday

Hi,

Sitting here totally stuffed with icelanding candy. Got a candy in the mail last night. Man it is good. So I will probably have to go on the treadmill and stay there.

First exam is on Monday and look as much forward to it as root canal. I do think I will be able to pull that one off. The exam next Wednesday is a bigger headache, but with a dash of carelessness and some reading I think I can do some damage to the teachers flunking plan. But if all fails I do have a chance in January to pass, which of course I will if that will be the case.

And finally on Friday December 2nd, I will take the last exam, which I am not sure how will go. We will see.

I have been playing Christmas songs today and yesterday and quite frankly I am getting in the Xmas spirit. Currently it is snowing outside and I have a cup of Cappuchino by my side and a truckload of reading material.

Take care those who care to read this dribble.

Write more after the exams.

By the way...it would be nice to get some comments from those, who are reading this...just curious.

What should the todays input be called?

Hi,

Sitting in class and listening to this guy Klaus, who is presenting the value of customer relations management systems for a little company called Novozyme.
Interesting stuff and they seem to have a pretty good system to control both sales and services to respective customers. Anyway, I am not going to put you sleep with this talk.

Pizza day today and Disney show. I actually look forward to it. This time I will let the kids to the work, while I will make a courageous attempt to study a little. Must admit I am not optimistic, but I will be able to burn the midnight oil next week.
The last minute guy strikes again.

Took a look at GoogleEarth yesterday. Amazing stuff. Recommend you try it.

Finally again I want to remind you of How Stuff Works

Have a nice weekend!!!

Nice weather, but cold.

Yes, I have started to read for the exams...actually begun for real yesterday. I am rowing up shitcreek like a dear friend of mine in Stockholm likes to say. Well, I will do my best and if all fails I will move to Delaware and become a limbodancer. So, things are not that bleak.

Today startet pretty good and just like yesterday it started with me waking up. I have noticed that this is how my day usually starts. The children were sweet as usual. Dísa did though not agree with the fashion statement her dad prepared for her, but was quickly satisfied when she saw she could tuck the trousers in the shoes, thus able to show her new shoes her Mother bought yesterday. Dad did not figure this out at first. Matthias was ready for battle on the Toyfront. Alexander got up right away and dressed before you could say a word. This talent does not come from his parents. Morning "sickness" has been a chronical disease for me and no cure in sight.

As I mentioned above I am busy reading for the exams and therefore perfectly normal that I blog ;) Well, I will call it quits now. I have a cup of tea...yes trying to cut down on coffee. I have to give the coffee makers of the world some time to stock up.

Well that is it for now. Take care and remember Rome was built in days or was it daze...hmmm.

New Stereo...well old but new anyway

Hi,

Just have to share this with you lot. I have finally got the stereo working that I bought on Ebay. The amp is an old Sansui receiver, probably made in 1980, and works perfectly. The speakers are Bose 301, around 1990, and well they are just heaven.
I used to own same kind of speakers about 10 years ago, but switched them for a 14 inch TV, man that was a mistake...yes I am constantly reminded of this by my "socalled" friends ;)

Anyway, Audioslave is now working the bass and the tweeters at the moment and well I am in heaven. Music has always meant alot to me, and to have the oportunity to listen to it on a decent stereo is well without words. Every little detail is delivered. Modern stereo simply do not get this delivered unless you are ready to pay for it.

Take care everyone...I am a happy camper :)

Strange things happen to strangers...

Hi,

Sitting her after a more or less ok day, but stressfull...well the weather is awfully reminiscent of a place called Iceland. To be exact Keflavik airport Iceland. I felt today like I was late for work and they were going to lay asphalt on the runway intersections...to those who have no idea where I am heading with this, this means stress or crisis. To quote Edmund Blackadder: "This is a crisis. If you have got a minute. It is a twelve storie crisis, with a magnificent entrance hall and a sign saying 'This is a large crisis'" Think I remember the quotation correctly.

Well, why crisis and have I been to the diesel oil again. Crisis because there are only two weeks until the first exam and diesel oil yes please.

Man, what am I saying here. I am in a funny mood today. Disregard above. I am really feeling ok and think I will be just fine.

Yes, Christmas is only roughly a month away. Time flies, even when you are not having fun. Strange.

Well, I am off to the books. Datamining is on the menu tonight with a dash of coffee and I suspect a generous amount of Anton Berg on the side.

Take care,

Arnar Thor

Sunday

Hi,

Long time no write...Yes, I am still alive...I think...yes still ticking.
School, school, school and nothing else is on the menu these days. I will be taking three exams at the end of this month and well I am not looking forward to it. I have spoken to the teachers and I am allowed to write in English. Makes me really glad, because even though my danish has gotten a lot better I am not quick enough to write.

The weekend has been a quiet one. I did go into town on Fridaynight, but really did not have the desire to stay long. I went to Cafe Cuckoos nest and listened to 3 spaniards play their guitars and do a bit of singing. It was fun.

Today I was at Solrun's place and had cookies she just baked. Oh my God they taste good. Must have eaten about a dozen of those...couple of pounds of hipjelly added there.

Well, I am now sitting at home watching a little American football, which I am beginning to like more and more. I have not missed a superbowl in what 6 or 7 years, but have not paid much attention to the regular season. Now I am trying to pick something up. The Danes seem to like football alot and actually if I am not mistaken there is a league here in Denmark.

Tomorrow I will stay at home and take care of Matthias. He has a slight fever and therefore no reason to take any chances. We will probably have loads of fun.

see you later,
